Gary and Lynn are originally from Pennsylvania; however, Maryland has been their home for more than 30 years. Their children were born and raised in Howard County.
Gary is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Education. He taught in the Howard County Public School system and coached high school football before beginning his career in real estate in 1972. Throughout the 1970’s he taught the fundamentals of real estate at Howard County Community College. He enjoys photography, which certainly is an asset in the marketing of homes.
Lynn is a graduate of Strayer Business College in Washington, D.C., and was employed by NASA. She began her real estate career in 1985 after sending her youngest daughter off to kindergarten. She is a freelance writer for various local magazines and newspapers and has written numerous articles on marketing residential real estate.
Gary and Lynn live in the neighborhood of Dunloggin in Ellicott City. In their spare time they enjoy working around the house doing home improvements, working in their yard and garden and spending time with friends and family. They are also active members of St. John's Lutheran Church.
As team leaders for Habitat for Humanity, Gary and Lynn plan and organize Global Village Builds around the world. They have been in Kenya, Africa; Helena, Montana; Clarksdale, Mississippi; Eagle Butte, South Dakota; Veracruz, Mexico to work alongside Jimmy Carter; and Rio Claro, Costa Rica. They do a global village build every year with Habitat. They also volunteer as child advocates for Voices for Children an organization whose mission it is to speak on behalf of abused and neglected children.
Together, Gary and Lynn have a blended family of eight grown children and six grandchildren. Four of their children are successful real estate agents. Their youngest daughter is a helicopter pilot in the U. S. Army and recently returned from a deployment in Iraq. They currently share their home with two spoiled cats and a Westie named Lilly.
Gary and Lynn feel that selling real estate has been a gratifying career over the years. They work hard and are dedicated to helping families find their dream home.
